In line with the crucial issues Australia’s disadvantaged children and young people face we will invest in alleviating the following causes in 2010 and beyond:

•    child abuse prevention;

•    residential care of children and young people with high care needs;

•    education and training of indigenous children and young people;

•    juvenile justice;

•    homelessness;

•    health/mental health;

•    ‘stop children and young people with multiple disadvantages to fall between the cracks’ research
