Do Something

Do Something is about - you guessed it - you actively getting involved with Children's Promise for example by recruiting more and more people to "Give an Hour and Change the Future" in a fun way.

Your involvement is crucial in building a movement of people who all care about disadvantaged children and young people in Australia and agree that everybody should have the same opportunities, particularly starting out, in a country like ours with so many opportunities available....

Right now you could download our e-card and circlulate it to as many friends and colleagues as is appropriate to help us spread the word.

Ideas we are currently bouncing about include  issuing challenges or promises to friends, colleagues, professional networks to get on board and then compare the results with peers or pitch groups against one another.

You will also have an opportunity to be involved in the decision making about where the money raised goes by voting on our causes pages and telling us what your priorities are.

If you have ideas or comments on how this could work we would love to hear from you during this creative planning phase. Email us at ulrike@childrenspromise.org. We look forward to hearing from you.

In the meantime you can become one of our champions, connect with us on twitter and facebook or simply give one our hour of your annual income/profits knowing that things small add up to something significant!
