Every individual is being asked to donate one hour's salary, profits or other income from this year to create a better future for the children and young people of the next. The idea has the potential to unite the community and truly provide everybody with a reason to celebrate.

Imagine we all got together and gave only one hour of our income once a year to make it really count for disadvantaged children and young people.
On a personal level, because you can buy your way to happiness. It has been scientifically proven that people who give money away to others are happier than people who spend the money on themselves.
In relation to the bigger picture: Australia is a 'lucky country' for most of us - but did you know that:
- 30,000 Australian children were proven to have been abused or neglected in the past year and that these victims are grossly over-represented in our prisons, as perpetrators of crime and violence, and amongst the economically and socially disadvantaged?
